Over time, the seal in double glazed units can perish, resulting in moisture between the panes of glass. This usually manifests itself in a misty or cloudy appearance when you look through the window. In extreme circumstances, there can also be moss or mould within the unit.
Similar results can occur when units are cracked or damaged. The hermetical seal between the panes is broken and a misty or cloudy appearance is seen.
